"An Honor to Die For" is an interactive Murder-Mystery-Comedy that involves the audience in the performance. Audience members are attending an Honorarium Dinner for noted industrialist and business magnate Buck Van Monington. Buck is a man of immense wealth and appetites. Although Buck has accomplished some amazing things in his life, he's usually stepped on a lot of toes and ruined a lot of lives in the course of reaching his goals. He'll do anything to get what he wants...maybe even commit murder. This dinner is a way to honor Buck, but it's also a way for friends and employees to suck up to the man in charge.

During the evening, the audience has a chance to meet some important people in Buck's life, like his ex-wife, who just became his EX-wife within the past week. She could be mad enough to kill someone...for instance the caterer who also happens to be a former mistress of Buck's. And Buck's former mistress is incredibly unhappy that Buck's world-famous designer and decorator is late in getting the place decorated for the big night. The five star chef, who is working for the ex-mistress caterer is a former employee of Buck's and just tonight he's going to find out that Buck has stolen his latest prize recipe.

Tensions are high, to say the least. When the best friend of Buck's ex shows up, things really start to get crazy. Somebody gets killed, somebody did it, and the audience is there throughout gathering the clues and laughing along with the suspects.

The Characters :

Lydia Delacourt Van Monington (Marcy Jones) - Lydia is Buck's ex-wife. She was on the guest list before she became his ex. Rather than politely decline the invitation, she decided to show up and sound off. A few drinks before the festivities make it easier for Lydia to speak her mind.

Jasper Ration (Allen Stare) - Jasper is a friend and rival of Buck's who has always lived on Buck's coattails and in his shadow. Jasper is a well known ham who loves public speaking. How could he resist a plum gig like this? Jasper decided to put aside his differences with Buck so he could host this very prestigous event.

Art Deco (Brad Karr) - In demand interior decorator with a flair for business. Art has been Buck's go-to design guy for years doing freelance work at Buck's hotels and properties. Sometimes Art has trouble keeping his many projects straight. Art knows everyone who is anyone at the party and he's always ready with the latest dish. Sometimes he needs to learn when to keep his mouth shut.

Brenda Bichman (Katie Phelps) - Brenda is one of Buck's old flames...and it sounds like the fires were burning while Buck and Lydia were married. Buck eventually fired Brenda...but then set her up in a catering business. Is she mad? Or thankful? Either way, she's in charge of tonight's meal.

Sebastian Souffle (Sean-Edward Hall) - Sebastian is an internationally famous chef who used to be featured at some of Buck's five-star restaurants. He's now working for Brenda at the catering business until he gets back on his feet. He's planning to dazzle Buck with his new creation...until he finds out that Buck has stolen the recipe and is serving it all over the place.

Amanda Mandalay (Donna Stare) - Amanda is the wealthy Mandalay Oil heiress and longtime friend of Buck and Lydia. To call Amanda a 'character' would be an understatement. You don't become one of the Top Ten Most Powerful Women in American Business (as voted by "Powerful Women in American Business" magazine) without being outspoken and intense. Amanda arrives late with big news.

Dash Donalinger(Craig Albers) - Hardboiled New York cop working a smalltown beat assignment as part of a workforce exchange program. He's called in to investigate.

Rip Slabstein (Doc Holloway) - Rip is the county coroner. Hey, there's been a murder...of course there's going to be a coroner.

And, of course...
Buck Van Monington (Bruce Allen) - What can be said about the man of the hour that won't be said by virtually everyone else at the party? Buck is rich, successful, powerful...rich. He's got it all and he still wants more. He doesn't care who gets in his way...actually, some people say he likes it when somebody gets in his way. But would he actually kill someone? Hmmmm....
